| OCTOBER 8, 2009 Hi, and thanks for coming by. After years of shying away from such things, my brother Chris and I started up a cover band ("The Presumptions") - and I have to say it's been a lot of fun. If you're in the Houston area, come check out our first gig at The Flying Saucer on October 17 at 9:00 pm. I can't promise perfection, but I can promise volume :-) I recently got the nice news that "Spirit of Fire" from the Halo Wars soundtrack has been nominated for a Hollywood Music in Media Award! Wish it luck... (You can see more info on the event here.) Somewhat older news: If you check the Halo Wars page, you'll notice a link called "Halo Wars Remixed." This will lead you to a set of instrument stem files for two tracks from the soundtrack ("Flollo" and "Best Guess at Best.") Also: the Halo Wars Original Soundtrack was released in February and a new album of songs, Somewhere Close to Near, came out in March.
